Obituary of William Clinton Brien

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the P.R.H.C. on Monday March 16, 2015. Bill was a longtime employee of General Electric and an active volunteer for many years with the Douro-Dummer Fire Department. Loved and missed by his daughter Cheryl Benstead (Vince) of Hiawatha and loving grandpa of Cassidy and Zachary. Remembered by his mother Jewel Brien of Ottawa, sisters-in-law June Brien of Ottawa and Barb Traynor (Brent) of Newcastle. Survived by his nieces and nephews Scott & Lindsay Brien, Debbie Collins and Jeff Traynor. Predeceased by his wife Lynne (2013), father Earle and brother Tedd. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
