Obituary of Leona Florence Taylor

TAYLOR: Leona Florence “Ona” Passed away peacefully at the Curve Lake Seniors Residence on Thursday April 30, 2015. Ona (Jacobs) of Curve Lake in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Grant Taylor (2007). Loving mother of Dianne Goard (Robert) of Lindsay, Teresa McCrea (Bob Flegg) of Bobcaygeon, Kim McCrea (Mark Latchford) of Buckhorn, Mark McCrea (Heather) of Bobcaygeon and step children Joy Scott of Toronto, Donna Jacobs (Leland), Josie Jacobs (the late Dwight) and Glennis Taylor, all of Curve Lake and the late Ephram. Survived by grandchildren Stephanie, Rachel, Erin and Dakota, great grandchildren Georgia and Sloan Leona-Jean and by her brother Carl Sunday of Curve Lake. Predeceased by her sister Barbara Hanes and brothers Dalton, Nolan, Nelson, Ronnie, and Gordie Jacobs. A funeral service will be held at the Curve Lake Church on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Curve Lake Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Curve Lake Community Centre.
