Obituary of Charles Richard McDowell

McDowell: Charles Richard “Charlie” Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Monday September 14, 2015. Charlie McDowell of Fothergill Isle, three days before his 93rd birthday. Charlie was a mechanic in the RCAF during WWII before becoming a master plumber, operating his own plumbing business and then at the Toronto International Airport, retiring in 1984. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Mary Beck (2007). Sadly missed by his children Craig (Deb) of Orangeville and Lynne Dryla (Scott) of Keswick. Dear grandpa of Shane, Nicole, Andrea and Kevin and great grandpa of Rory. Predeceased by his son Brent (2015). Charlie was the last surviving member of his family. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday September 18, 2015 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 12:00 PM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
