Obituary of Don Webb

WEBB, Donald “Don” Passed away at Mapleview Retirement Residence, Norwood on Friday February 5, 2016. Don Webb of Norwood, formerly of St. Catherines and Oshawa in his 81st year. Husband of the late Bernice (nee Cronkwright). Sadly missed by his daughter Carol Mills (Ralph) of Havelock and son Scott Webb (Thelma) of Oshawa. Beloved Papa of Samantha Larmer (Brian) and Crystal Mills and Great Papa of Ryerson Mills, Chase Villnef and Lucy Larmer. Also remembered by his siblings Bob Webb, Sylvia Bosch (late Henry), Maurice Webb (Shirley), Jack Webb (Cathy), Jacqueline Carter (Gerald), Francis Webb (Diane), Leonard Webb (Shirley), Loriena Forsythe (Grant) and Susan Rogers (Rick), by his numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and by Cher Cook, Cheryl Cavalry, Jacqueline and Kartor Cavalry. Predeceased by his brother Alfred Webb and sister Darlene Koski (Ed). A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM with visitation to commence at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow at the R.C.L. Br. 300, Norwood. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Make A Wish Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Maple View Retirement Home Residents Council who took Don on so many special outings. He will be especially missed by the wonderful staff and residents of Maple View, whom he also considered his family and to whom we are grateful for their loving care and support. Also a special thank you the the Palliative Care team for their wonderful care and support. He loved to walk and wave to the passerby.
