Obituary of Helen Dube

DUBE: Mary Frances Helen Passed away peacefully at Rubidge Retirement Residence, Peterborough on Thursday April 28, 2016, in her 100th year. Helen is the beloved wife of the late Lucien Joseph Dube (1995) and Jack Austen (1954). Loving mother of Joseph Pollard (Mary) of Bobcaygeon. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Theresa Jerrard (Jerry), Patricia Logan (Hugh), Michael Pollard (Natalee), Kathleen Stewart (David), Rosemary Riel (Luc), great grandchildren Andrew, Christopher, Kyle, Brandon, Nickolas, Megan, Hannah, David, Danielle and great great grandchildren Caleb, Sadie and Elizabeth. Dear sister of Monica McLaughlin and sister-in-law of Barbara Courneyea, both of Tweed. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John Courneyea & Exie DeMarsh, sisters Anne Puddicombe, Pat Tufts and Rita O’Connell and brothers Dominic, Anthony, Joseph and Ambrose Courneyea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne’s R.C. Church, 859 Barnardo Ave., Peterborough on Monday May 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will commence at the church at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall of the church. Interment will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Prospect Cemetery, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to Rubidge Retirement Residence or the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy.
