Obituary of Gloria Florence Morris

MORRIS: Gloria Florence Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Lakefield on Friday June 24, 2016. Gloria (Shaw) of Buckhorn, formerly of Scarborough in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Sid Morris (2009). Daughter of the late Fred and Lillian Shaw. Loving mother of Karen and her husband Doug McKinnon of Port Hope, Dianne and her husband Murray Slote of Omemee and Garth of Toronto. Survived by her brothers Vincent & William Shaw. Nan is remembered by Darryl (Nicole), Ryan, Amanda (Adam) and Faye (Brent). Loving Nanny of Jaxson, Juliette and Charlotte. Predeceased by her sister Corrine Simpson, brother Bryan and sister-in-law Barbara Shaw. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday June 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) or the Kawartha Lakes Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
