Obituary of Audrey Doris Hannah

HANNAH: Audrey Doris Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday January 11, 2017. Doris Hannah R.N. of Lakefield in her 90th year. Sadly missed by her sister Shirley Burley (Allan) of Bobcaygeon and life partner Chris Hobin. Also missed by her nieces June Hendry of Pontypool, Sherry Wilson (Len Dawson) of Pigeon Lake, her nephew Terry Burley of Wasaga Beach, and several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents. Doris will be fondly remembered by her many close friends. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 4:30 PM. Visitation to commence one hour prior. A reception will take place following the funeral in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. In her long career with Easter Seals, Doris worked tirelessly to ensure thousands of young people with physical challenges received the resources they needed to thrive including by playing a significant role in the opening of Variety Village.
