Obituary of Eva Jane Hart

HART: Eva Jane (nee Edwards) Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Tuesday February 21, 2017. Eva Hart formerly of Lakefield in her 97th year. Wife of the late Clifford Skelcher (d. 1959) and Howard Hart (d. 1981). Cherished mom of Dianne Rowe (d. Ronald) and the late Frank and Dale Skelcher. Remembered by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Sherman Edwards (Carol). Predeceased by her parents Frank and Charlotte Edwards, and siblings Bill, Frank, Thelma, Les, Stan, Berniece and Norman. Friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Friday February 24, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday February 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM, visitation one-hour prior. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Canadian Scottish Club of Peterborough, 868 Valleyview Drive, following the interment.
