SHEARER, Shirley Ellen (nee Fisher)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday May 14, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Shirley Shearer in her 95th year. Beloved mother of Linda Shearer, and Harry (Susan). Remembered by her grandchildren Gregory Worboy (Kim), Jeffrey Worboy (Jackie), Cheryl Worboy, Katie McCafferty (Marty), Matthew Shearer (Liz), and great-grandchildren Jacob, Griffin, Jaime, Evan, Sophie, Luke, Easton, and Kohl. Survived by her brother John Fisher (Margaret Bird) and brother-in-law  Norm (d. Norma Ward). Predeceased by her parents Harry and Frances Fisher, brother William Fisher and Robert Shearer, formerly of Buckhorn, the father of her two children. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Visitation to commence at 11:00 AM. Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst.
