Obituary of Thelma Edith Pilkey

PILKEY: Thelma E.

Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Monday July 31, 2017.  Thelma (nee Lowrey) of Lakefield in her 97th year.  Beloved wife of Gordon Pilkey and dear mother of Linda Hall (the late Richard) of Toronto and Dr. Marilyn McKay of Halifax, N.S.  Always loved and remembered by her grandchildren Megan Deveaux (Kevin), Dr. Benjamin McKay (Lyia) and Kristen Connelly (Michael) and great grandchildren Ewan, Flavie, Anna, Carter, Jacob and Baylee.  Predeceased by her first husband William Brazier (d. 1958) and her brothers-in-law Dr. Ray Pilkey (Marion), Alvin Pilkey (Cynthia) and Stanley Pilkey (Betty).  A Celebration of Thelma’s Life will be held at Lakefield United Church, Regent Street, Lakefield on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield United Church Memorial Fund.  Friends may send condolences or make donations by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
