NEILD: Mary Ann “Ann”

 

Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday January 4, 2018.  Ann Herrington-Connolly (Simpson) of Lakefield in her 74th year.  Ann was a dedicated faithful member of the Selwyn Outreach Centre and many there will miss her warm inviting hugs.  Lovingly remembered by her husband Robert Neild and her children Pearl Ann (Alan Coombes), (the late) Michael (Bev), Alex (Michelle), Jamie and Pat.  Also remembered by her grandchildren Ashley, Phillip, Amanda, Christopher, Adam, Alyssa, Andrew, Austin, Alexandria, Madison and Mason and by her great grandchildren Aurora, Meagan, Jacob, Tyson and Jaxson.  Survived by her siblings Leona, Chesty, Bill (Marylin), Paul (Sharon), sisters-in-law Alison and Doris Simpson and brother-in-law Ken Mills.  Ann will be missed by her many very dear friends.  Also missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her birth parents Delina Mary Myles and Gilbert Vincent Herrington, her adopted parents Mary Grainger and Charles Connolly, sisters Elizabeth, Mae, June and brothers Jim, Jack, Frank, Murray and Gary Connolly.  A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held at the Selwyn Outreach Centre, 2686 Lakefield Road, on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.  Memorial donations may be made to New Life Christian Academy as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
