Obituary of Sherman Roy FRENCH

FRENCH, SHERMAN ROY (Veteran of WW II) At P.R.H.C. Hospital Dr. Site on Saturday, January 12, 2002, Sherman French of Peterborough in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Foster). Loving father of Lynne Cooper of Peterborough and Steven (Cathy) of Ennismore. Proud grandfather of Emily and David. Predeceased by his parents James and Grace French and sisters Phyllis Cross, Florence Cheel and Ruby Deck. Sherman served 26 years in the Canadian Army and then graduated from Peterborough Teachers College in 1972 and had been a long time employee at Ruddy Electric. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the Hendren Chapel on Tuesday, January 15 at 11:00 am. Interment at Lakefield Cemetery. Rev. Kathleen Addison Officiating. If so desired memorial donations to the Building Fund at P.R.H.C. would be apprerciated by the family.
