Saturday March 23rd 2024 . Chris and Norma Rooney. Although there were a few thousand miles between us across the ocean didn’t mean we were not close . I always thought of us having a special bond and of course the greatest bond of all we shared was our precious granddaughters Layla and Skye . We had some of the best times of our lives with you and Lori and all the family and the best laughs ever . We’ll carry those special memories in our hearts forever. You will be so sadly missed Steve by everyone who had the greatest pleasure of knowing you. Give everyone up there a special big hug from us. Rest peacefully Steve xxxxx ❤️

A thousand words won't bring you back. I know because I've tried, and neither will a thousand tears. I know because I've cried. Until we meet again. You will always be in my heart.

Lori and family, my deepest condolences to you all at this sad time. I met Steve in grade six when he was the new kid in the class with this lovely Scottish accent. We had some great adventures during our teenage years that I remember fondly. Lori, it was great that you arranged Steve's 50th birthday so we could all get together again not realizing it would be the last time. He was taken far to young from such a great family. Lori and family...although it's been a long time since we have seen each other its been wonderful staying connected through technology. You and Steve have such a beautiful, close family. A true bond and thank you for sharing your special moments. And although Steve left you too early in his life, his heart was full. Full of love and admiration for his family. A very proud poppa. Blessings to you and your family. He will always be in your hearts so hold tight to the memories. Mark and Diane xo

I am not sure how to do life without my love of 46 years. Just feel empty is the best way to describe this all. However I have a huge job to do for you and I know you would say…..I need you to be strong as heck and take care of yourself and look after the most precious people in your life which have always been your life’s greatest accomplishments . That I promise you. Rest well my love. I will miss you forever xoxoxoxo

We were proud to call Steve our brother-in-law, we loved him,not only our brother-in-law but our kids Uncle! They both loved their Uncle Steve! He was the most talented artisan I have ever met, a perfectionist, one who was proud of his work and it showed. He was loved by my sister Lori and was the proudest dad of Chris,Matt and Ash and proud Dadap of all his grandkiddies. We have lots and lots of memories we share and will miss him more than words can say. RIP Steve, you will be missed! Xoxoxoxoxox
