Mary was a wonderful person who I had the pleasure of knowing for over 40 years and having as my stepmom. I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better partner for my Dad or a role model and stepmother for me than Mary. As per Mary’s wishes I donated to Hospice which is an incredible place with staff that provided Mary with phenomenal care as I’m sure they do to anyone spending their final days there.

Mary was an exceptional person. Caring and compassionate, generous, supportive and wise--she touched the lives of so many, sometimes quietly but always with her delicious sense of humour. People and animals thrived around Mary; she seemed to know what each creature needed, be they four or two-legged. We have lost a dear friend. Thank you Peterborough Hospice, for providing Mary with the care and respect she extended to others all her life.

Mary was a wonderful friend for many years. We shared so much! We were both retired from teaching, loved animals and worked so well together. Memories of yard sales, bake sales, ticket sales, travels to Whitby Petsmart, fostering kittens and so many others. Her family were her rock and their love, strength and commitment was unwavering. Her memory is indelibly planted in my soul. ♥️♥️
