Paul taught me at St. Elizabeth Phys Ed. We shared a love for hockey. He was a good athlete and mentored me in track. He was my escort at the CNE track meet final of the boys 10 year old 100 yard dash. I was thrilled to win that event and thankful to him for his support. My sincere condolences to his family.

Our deepest condolences to Colleen and family. You truly have lost a wonderful man who made such a difference not only in your lives but in those of so many others. The tributes already made on this page go far to capsulize Paul's professional career -- a friend and mentor to his colleagues and a tough but excellent teacher to his students. I worked directly with Paul for 10 years and can testify to all these attributes. Colleen mentioned in the obituary that one of Paul's best characteristics was his loyalty to his friends. Certainly true , but that friendship had to be earned; Paul had little use for those he did not respect. After retirement ,Paul continued to maintain contact with our family and always took a special interest in our older son whom Paul had known from childhood. When we talked, it didn't take long for Paul to show his love for and pride in his family --- how he loved his Emma, Liam, and Clara !! Although essentially a reserved man, Paul will be missed --- his was a life well lived in terms of the impact he had on so many with whom he had contact.

Sending condolences to the Sheehan family at this difficult time. I worked with Paul at Michael Power/St. Josephs in the early 80's and had some great conversations with him during that time. He was a memorable character that was dedicated to teaching and coaching during some or the best years in Catholic education. †Rest in peace Paul†

My condolences to Colleen and all of Paul’s family. I met Paul in 1968 when he introduced himself as our new Grade Seven Teacher. Within days I discovered that underneath that tough exterior was a gentle and caring man who assured that every child in that class felt heard and seen. So imagine how happy I was to have him as my colleague when I joined the staff at Michael Power. Our paths continued together as we both left Power for Redmond. We, along with 15 others, become pioneers of a brand new school named after someone we both knew and loved. Paul was very important to me as a teacher in my formative years and became a good colleague and friend in my adult life as an educator.Im sorry that we lost touch over the years but I will always remember him with fondness.

Colleen, Darren, Emma, Liam & Clara Paul was our one in a million friend. We loved our friendship with him so much. We had nine jam packed years of good times. We celebrated everything we could celebrate, enjoyed breakfast dates, coffee at Tims, numerous adventures, drives admiring the countryside, a wonderful trip to Conneticut to visit you guys which we will always treasure, checking out golf courses, trips to Bloor West Village (his favorite place next to Lakefield), yearly visits to St. Jacob's and lots of love and continuous laughter along the way. We just loved being together no matter what we were doing. There was never a bad day with Paul around. He made every day the best day! Paul became family to us in such a short time. I always told him he was meant to be in Lakefield. His leaving has left a huge void that nobody will ever fill. Pauls's kindness and empathy of others will never be forgotten. We were so lucky to have had him be a huge part of our family. He loved showing us the latest pics and always kept us up to date on what his treasured grandchildren were doing. He loved you all so much and was so proud of all of you. Until we meet again Bestie! Miss you forever Pauly.❤️ Tammy, Greg, Emily & Rob & Hannah Frost & The Frostboys xo
