My first and longest lasting memory of Doug was the night he moved into our home as a border. I wanted to stay up to see this new person coming to live with us, but Mom would not let me stay up. I was 8 or 9 years old. So being the usual inquisitive child I was, when he arrived I was peeking out our bedroom door. Thought he was soooo handsome. I got to see him at breakfast the next morning. As time went on, of course he met Bonnie and fell in love. I always told him he had to wait for me to grow up and marry me. I had to settle for being Flower Girl at their wedding. Of course the age difference was a problem back then. He will always be our handsome border who married my Aunt. R.I.P Doug. Love Susie

I was introduced to the family when I married Brent Carr and what a lovely family they are. Brent said he felt like the Willoughbys were his extended family. Doug will be missed by many. RIP
