Dear Karen and little ones. Please know that we are thinking of you all. I am at a loss to know what words to say... Life has a cruel way of presenting us with huge obstacles. Please never forget how special you are. Don't doubt yourself. You will find a way through your grief to be there for your children and to be happy again.

Dear Karen and Family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Hartley's passing. Although I only knew him in a doctor/client capacity, my appointments with him were memorable, enjoyable, and tremendously helpful in my development. His aforementioned dry wit, humane approach to psychiatry, and genuine concern are qualities which I will hold dear forever. My profound condolences in this difficult time. Aedan Shaughnessy, Peterborough, ON Trent University Student

Dear Karen and Family, I was shocked to learn about Jeff's sudden passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. It was a privelege to have been Jeff's pschotherapy supervisor and later his colleague on the Mood Disorders Unit of ROH. He was a wonderful person to work with. He was a team player who was well liked and respected by staff and patients alike. I particularly enjoyed his dry wit. His was clinically astute and pragmatic, and never backed away from a challenge (ie. he often worked with very difficult patients who others might shun). I recall well the sense of loss amongst our team when you guys left to move to Peterborough. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to be of help. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Yours, Colin Cameron 613 832-1438h 613 794-4107c
