STANFIELD: IRENE GERTRUDE (Former owner/operator of Pineaires Resort) At Fairhaven Home, Peterborough on Thursday October 5, 2006. Irene (Powell) of Peterborough formerly of RR # 1 Lakefield and of Weston, ON, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Earl Stanfield. Loving mother of Sylvia and her husband Wayne Ferguson of Peterborough and John and his wife Catherine of Buckhorn. Dear sister of George Powell and his wife Patricia of Buckhorn and Jack Powell and his wife Georgina of Peterborough. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Trudy and Lee Ferguson and Angela, Lori and Robert Stanfield and 8 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Tuesday October 10, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial of urn at Lakefield Cemetery.
