Obituary of Dale Richmond GROZELLE

GROZELLE, Dale Richmond - At the palliative care in Devon Hospital in Devon, Alberta, on Thursday, November 24, 2006. Dale, dearly beloved husband of 27 years to Diana, son of the late Richmond and Florence Grozelle of Haileybury, brother in law to William (Mikie) Foster, father to Kim & Bruce Grozelle in Quebec, also step children, Deanna Johnson (Gary) of Alberta, Donna McCarrol of Peterborough, Debbie Robinson (Neal) of Lakefield, Jacquie Hebner (Randy) of Alberta, Janet Zahraie of Peterborough, Victor Johnson (Marie Ellen) of Lakefield, and the late Valerie Johnson. Survived by 27 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. Dale will be remembered for his working years at Coyles Trucking in Lakefield and many years with Trent Metals of Peterborough. Dale loved to drive, and he and Diana did from Ontario to Victoria, British Columbia, and south to Texas. Reading was a pastime he enjoyed, along with feeding the horses on the farm or going to Peppys on the River in Texas. He made a lot of friends and we thank them all for their support. He got sick at the beginning of October and never lost his sense of humor once. Friends and relatives may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Thursday November 30, 2006 from 6-9 PM and on Friday December 1, 2006 from 9-11 AM. A funeral service will be held in the HENDREN CHAPEL on Friday at 11:00 AM. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cencer Society as expressions of sympathy.
