Dear Ray, Juanita & Family, I have known Mary Ellen since 1974 when our family moved to Apsley. (I was 13) She did supply teaching in my grade eight class at Apsley Central School. My mother and father (Bill and Irene Cole) were her very good friends. Mary Ellen and my Mom were like sisters. I remember her smile and her laugh at the many fun evenings and special events we all shared. I remember her dedication to her church and her beautiful organ playing. I remember how she loved to dance (I think it's called the Charleston). She was a long time Legion Member who proudly marched in many parades and volunteered for many Legion functions. She was a beautiful person who shared love everywhere she went and in everything she did. I remember our girls only days, when a few us ladies would get together, have a few totties and play a fun game of poker. There are thousands more great memories that she has left behind and she will never be forgotten. We all miss you Mary Ellen! Rest In Peace Love, Donna, Len, Jason & Jennifer Bernard

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am always saddened when someone dies, although they are at peace, we still miss them very much. Jesus Wept just before he resurrected Lazarus. What comforts me the most is the promises Jesus made of a resurrection (john 11:25) and of Seeing them again and Living Forever with our loved ones, in Paradise (John 3:16,36; Psalm 37:29) (luke 23:43). What also comforts me is that these promises may also comfort your family as well. â??Blessed are those who mourn, since they will be comfortedâ? (math5:40; 2Cor1:3,4).
