JAMES: HERBERT WILLIAM Passed away at St. Joseph's at Fleming, Peterborough on Tuesday April 8, 2008. Herbert James of Peterborough, formerly of Apsley in his 96th year. Husband of the late Hilda Ann Douglas. Loving father of Orland of Peterborough. Brother of the late Harry, Guy, Russell, Robert, Allen, Roy and Margaret James. Brother-in-law of Mary Smith and Christina Zawisklak. Predeceased by brothers-in-law John Smith and John Zawislak. Also survived by several nieces and nephews in B.C. A funeral service will be held at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Friday April 11, 2008 at 1:30 PM. Visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Murray McColl officiating. Cremation. Burial of urn at St. George's Anglican Church Cemetery, Apsley at a later date. If desired memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
