Obituary of Dustin Alexander Aubrey

Dustin Aubrey – beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away suddenly in Bobcaygeon, Ontario on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the age of 20. Dustin was a loyal and hardworking man pursuing his passion of becoming a diesel mechanic. He will be remembered for his kindness and charismatic personality, and the way he loved those around him endlessly and intensely. His courage and selflessness are testament that not all heroes wear capes – some wear crocs and camo! 

He will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Dave and Sarah (née Peacock) Aubrey and his brother, Riley (Shyanna) and sister, Lilee. Proud grandson of Maria and John Aubrey, and Brian and the late Marilyn Peacock. Cherished nephew of Dan Peacock (Carissa), Carrie Peacock, John Aubrey (Jen), Mary Parsons (Bob), Sandra Aubrey (Mike), and Joanne Cook (Joe). Dustin leaves behind many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends. He will be forever remembered by his past and present co-workers. 

A celebration of Dustin’s life will be held at the North Kawartha (Apsley) Community Centre – 340 McFadden Road, Apsley, Ontario on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with words of remembrance at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
