Clara built a beautiful legacy through her large family of 14 children. Her and Martin moved to Douro from Pembroke with their first two children to follow their dreams of owning a farm and where Clara so gracefully raised their 14 children. They established a successful entrepreneurship and reputation through the Peterborough Farmer’s Market. Clara was able to remain at the farm and live a long, happy life right up until the last few weeks of her life.

Clara loved to be surrounded by family and had the magic touch and biggest smile for all the babies. The family holds comfort knowing that she will now smile over all the children from above.
The family would like to express their greatest appreciation to the nurses and staff at PRHC, especially, floor B6 and Emergency, for their utmost care and compassion.
