Obituary of Judith Hirel Donaldson

DONALDSON: Judith Hirel (nee Reid)
December 24, 1945 - October 9, 2022

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center in her 77th year. Predeceased by her husband Paul Donaldson and brother Graham Reid. Cherished mother of Nicole Donaldson-Ahern (Greg) of Lindsay. Proud grandmother of Payton and Tyson Ahern. Judy will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Sally Reid (Art), Gayle Killoran (Larry), and brothers-in-law Ralph Donaldson and Colin Donaldson (Elaine). Aunt Judy will also be remembered by many nieces,  nephews and friends. Judy enjoyed her many day trips with friends as well as many horseshows with her daughter Nicole. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed caring for others.  A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES. LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 12:00 PM.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment Lakefield Cemetery.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Peterborough Humane Society or charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy, and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.comor by calling 705-652-3355.
