Don was well liked, a great husband and I miss him terribly but he had Alzheimers and Parkinsons so it was better that he go and be out of pain. Don is sadly missed by all of us from the OldeIce House, he was a real charachter, and had many a tale to spin, I am sure Larry Ulver has a pot of coffee waiting for Don. We will never forget him. Our thoughts go out to his family.

Thank you April. Sorry I didn't talk to you more at the funeral. The whole day was a blur and I have been so busy since then, it is just now I am reaching out to people. My brain is not working all that well nor is my body because of the bacteria I had in my blood which sent me to the hospital. I didn't need anymore problems with my brain than I already had. My true friends like you will allow for my mistakes I hope. Hope we can get together sometime soon, maybe for a meal. Love, Gloria

Was always a good laugh listening to old stories with Don at the Olde Ice House. He will be missed.

Thanks for your comment and support, Steve. Don enjoyed his time at the Ice House and I can imagine him, in heaven having coffee with the likes of Larry and Bert. Our old doctor, Dr. Rayes from Apsley just died also and Don really liked him. He is out of pain now which is a relief to me but I miss him terribly. We had a great life together and he was my best friend. Thanks and I have a card for you if the Ice House ran out of them before you got home. Gloria
