SHERIN: Blanche

Passed away peacefully with her sons Andrew and Michael at her bedside, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Friday December 6, 2024.  Blanche Sherin of Lakefield in her 86^th year.  Blanche was a devoted mother and the loving wife of the late Dr. John Playter Sherin (d. 2021).  Sadly missed by her sons Andrew Sanders of Toronto, Michael Sanders and wife Trisha Atkinson of Los Angeles and granddaughter Eva Sanders.  Survived by her step children Joanne Sherin and Randy Shuskewich of Woodview, Stephen Sherin of London, Rosemary Sherin of London, Barbara Sherin of B.C. and step-grandchildren Christopher and Andrew.  Also survived by her sisters Debbie, Diane, and brother Danny.  Lovingly remembered by Sabo Amen of North Carolina.  Predeceased by her sister May.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Blanche’s Life will be held on July 12, 2025.  More details will be published closer to the event.  Memorial donations may be made to Lakefield United Church, Lakefield Community Food Bank or the North Kawartha Food Bank as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
