My deepest condolences to you Doris, Karin and Jeff. I knew Hermie for many years through my friendship with Doris. She was always such a gracious host and she had a warm and welcoming smile for everyone. She was always interested in people and their lives. Her generous and warm spirit will live on. May you all find peace in your memories and reflections.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family and friends of Mrs. Hermie Bauer.
For those who may not know us, Mrs. Bauer was a cherished resident of our condominium complex and our neighbor for many years. We were fortunate and blessed to have shared a connection with both Mr. and Mrs. Bauer during their time on the 7th floor.
Mrs. Bauer held a special place in our hearts. She watched our daughter grow from a young child into a young lady, and we shared countless moments of kindness and community. After Mr. Bauer’s passing, it was our honor to lend a hand with small tasks around her apartment.
Hermie Bauer was an extraordinary woman with a gentle heart. Her positivity, grace, and genuine spirit were inspiring to all who knew her. She was more than a neighbor; she was a dear friend and, to our family, “Auntie Hermie.”
She will forever be missed and lovingly remembered by the Perketa family—Rachelle, Liliana, and Salvatore.

How difficult it must have been to go through this first Christmas without your beloved mother and grandmother. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. When with Doris and visiting Hermie, the only thing that I saw was a big smile and a welcoming face. She was an incredible person. Although short in stature, she was a giant in human kindness. A donation was made in her memory to YWCA Peterborough Women's Shelter.

We sorely miss you grandest great-aunt. You taught us unconditional love, were tougher than any soldier, full of wisdom and great fun. We were so blessed to have you in our lives for so many years - still it was way too short and there was so much more that we wanted to share with you. Heartfelt condolences to everyone who is missing you - above all Karin, Doris, Jeff & families.
