Mr. Hagerman was one of my business teachers at Lakefield District Secondary School in the late 70’s. He truly was a fine person and teacher, was often smiling and had the patience of a saint with students tapping the adding machine keys when he was trying to speak! You could tell he really liked his work.
To his family, I am sorry for your loss but thankful that you had him in your life for so long.

How about that--Glen Hagerman and Ern Mansell passing away on the same date? They were teaching colleagues at Lakefield D.S.S. in the late 70s and early 80s. In fact, they both taught in the same Geography-Business-History hallway. As a new teacher, one of my first staff parties was at the Hagerman home. Glen was a quiet steadying presence, often with a twinkle in his eye.

So sorry to hear that Glen as skipped over the rainbow........lots of fond memories of our neighbourly days on Cabot Street and being a Business Educator like Glen, we often bumped into each other on the job.
Loved Glen's style and loved how he and his life partner raised their children. If I was able to sit across the porch from God I would thank him for letting me get to know Glen over the smiles. Well done, Glen, on your trip through life.
