To the entire Mizuk Family, I am so saddened and upset to hear of Roman's passing and only finding out about it now. Even though I had moved from North Kawartha over 2 years ago, having been a resident for more than 20 years, he was such a great friend and I voted for him 3 times to represent the Township of North Kawartha. I had last spoken with him in later January 2025.
I can easily say, there has never been a better advocate, for the citizens of North Kawartha, in the history of North Kawartha Township Council than Roman was. Additionally, the best Taxidermist on the planet, who's craft and skill was unmatched. But mostly I will miss his laugh, great sense of humor and conviction for all he believed in. Roman "Told it like it was, and is" !
To his son Mark, I cannot tell you the amount of times, that I talked to you dad either on the phone, or in person, as to how he would always mention you, and how proud he was of you and the love he expressed for you.
All I can say is your day truly "Rocked" Still hanging on my wall, from July 2001, is the 42 inch, 20 pound Northern Pike that I caught on Chandos and Roman mounted for me, with impeccable skill and at such a reasonable price.
My sincerest condolences to the entire Miszuk Family. God Rest Roman's soul, may he be at Peace and I thank God for ensuring, that I met this great guy as a part of my Life.
Sincerely Daniel Murphy
