MISZUK: Roman Michael
Passed away suddenly at his home on Friday February 7, 2025. Roman Miszuk of Apsley in his 64th year. Roman was born in Toronto and realized his dream of moving into nature when he came to Apsley. He spent over 40 years as a Taxidermist, a skill that he learned from his father and brother. He loved the outdoors and living in nature and brought his core sense of values to his lifestyle of hunting and fishing. Roman was also a very proud servant of North Kawartha, having served two terms as Councillor at Large. He is loved and missed by his wife Robin and his son Mark (Klara Finley) of Apsley. Remembered by his brother Steve (Nancy), nephew Edward (Shaun), niece Nicole (Ash), niece Sasha, nephews Micheal and Matt, great niece Saylah and great nephew Stevie Jr. Also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and by his family in Poland. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Florianna and brothers John (Roxanne) and Walter (Jill). A funeral service will be held at Apsley Community Chapel, 299 McFadden Road, Apsley on Saturday February 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow in the fellowship room of the church.
