THOMPSON: Douglas John “Bud”

Passed away on Tuesday February 18, 2025.  Doug “Bud” Thompson of Peterborough in his 91^st year.  Beloved husband of Roberta (nee Brotherstone).  Loving father of Heather Thompson and Bill Thompson.  Youngest and last surviving child of Will and Mima Thompson.  Predeceased by his sisters Marjorie Ferguson (Russell), Dora Veals (Ivan), Hazel Vansickle (Percy), brothers Albert “Bert” (Margaret), Ernie (Vivian), Arnold (Monica) and brother-in-law Fred White.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Monday February 24, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held at Peterborough Free Methodist Church, 450 Lansdowne Street East, Peterborough on Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM.  Rev.
