To this end, there is not a bird in Lakefield that doesn’t know of Valerie’s backyard oasis and the endless buffet of seeds she provided them. Animals brought her peace and she was a loving mom to many pets over the years. She took great joy in playing board games with her loved ones. Valerie was a woman of resilience who will be remembered for her big love and the way her eyes danced when she was happy.
