Parcels, Doreen Carmen (nee Hoy)
Passed away at Golden Plough Lodge on March 2nd, 2025, with family by her side.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph Parcels and dear mother of the late Barry Parcels. Doreen is survived by her siblings Marion (d. Ben) Olan, Joyce (d. Lee) Lunn, Brenda (d. Don) McAdam, Jim (d. Julie) Lunn, Cathy (d. Vic) McIntyre, Carol (Cam) Oldfield and sister-in-law Hendrina Parcels. Doreen is predeceased by her mother Marjorie Lunn, sister Karen (d. George) Clarke, stepbrothers Harold Lunn, Charles Lunn, Merle Lunn and Garent Lunn.
Doreen was a proud member of the Presbyterian Church and took pride in her yearly Christmas short bread for the Church bazaar. Doreen was also an avid animal lover, and enjoyed Knitting and crocheting in her free time. The family wish to extend a thank you to all staff at Golden Plough Lodge for their great care and kindness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – NORWOOD CHAPEL. A graveside service will take place at Norwood-Asphodel Cemetery, 34 Regional Road 40, Norwood, on May 2nd, 2025 at 11am. With reception to follow at 59 County Road 40.
