WALSH: Gordon Bernard “Bernie”

Passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at his home.  Bernie Walsh of Hastings in his 80^th year.  Bernie was the owner/operator of Bernie Walsh Electric Inc., which he began in 1972.  Beloved husband for 53 years of Barb (nee Moher).  Cherished father of Ed Walsh (Kerstin), Rob Walsh (Christine), Ben Walsh (Linda) and Matt Walsh (Rachel).  Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren.  Survived by siblings Colleen Terpstra (John), Rosemary Town (Mike), Margaret VanWill (Theo), Susanna Puzo (Yves), Gordon Walsh and several nieces and nephews.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, on Tuesday March 11, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 4186 Highway 7, Norwood, on Wednesday March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM.  A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #300, Norwood.  As expressions of sympathy, Bernie has requested that you perform “a kind deed” in his memory.  For further information please contact the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or call 705-639-5322.
