Obituary of Cathy Jacobs

JACOBS: Catherine Marie (nee Halliday)

Cathy was born September 7, 1956 and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday March 7, 2025.  She will be greatly missed by her son Alan (Christine Pynkoski), daughter Wendy and grandchildren Donna, Stuart, Cayden, Mackenna, Morgan and Addyson.  Also missed by her brother Mike (Dawn), sister Laura Coppaway (the late Kim) and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Donald and Pearl and her younger brother Art. Cathy spent most of her life working for Curve Lake First Nation, and in her younger years she enjoyed camping, ATV’s and snowmobiling.  She also enjoyed many trips down to Nashville and going to casinos with her friends.  After retirement she loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching CNN.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Cathy’s Life will be held in the summer.  Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or 706-652-3355.
