Dear Sheila & family: On behalf of my family, I wish to send our sympathies on the passing of Richard. This family has lived on our little street since 1978..had their family, grew up, & moved away like every other family living here. Richard was well known after all those years as a man who was willing to help any of us when he could.. was great at “over the fence chatting” , going for coffee with my husband Fred every morning to Tim’s, or they would switch for a change. The group at coffee got larger by the week, where they met many friends over time. After my husband passed away, Richard took over looking after taking out, & bringing in the garbage…always appreciated that so much. He loved to visit & chat with the neighbours..that’s what retirement is.
Rest in Peace Richard…. You will be missed.
