KELLY, Jacquelyn Ruth (nee Rogers)
Passed away peacefully at Pleasant Meadow Manor on April 4th, 2025. Predeceased by her Husband Bert, Jackie will be deeply missed by her children Tina (Simon), Julie (Art) and Jeff (Jill). Jackie was a cherished Grandmother to Eileen (Andy), Kathleen (Aabid), Rachel, and Great Grandmother to Finley and Nellie. She will be fondly remembered by her many Nieces, Nephews and step-grandchildren Michael (Rachael), Danielle (Dave), Nikki (Nando), and Tommy (Morgan). Jackie is predeceased by her siblings Ashley, Lyle, Lottie, Neil, Echo, Lois, Floyd and Betty.
Jackie devoted her life to the service of others as an RN first at St. Joseph's Hospital and then at Spruce Haven Nursing Home and Burnbrae Nursing Home. She made many home visits to cancer patients and volunteered countless hours for IODE. She was also choir director, Session member and Sunday School teacher for many years at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – NORWOOD CHAPEL. A visitation will be held on April 11th, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at The Hendren Funeral Home – Norwood Chapel (36 Queen Street, Norwood) with a service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment at Norwood-Asphodel Cemetery will follow the service.
