Obituary of Elek Joseph Swiech

Passed away at Kingston General Hospital on April 4, 2025. Beloved husband to Wendy Swiech (Nee Galloway) for 54 years. Dear father to Jason and Shane Swiech. 

Elek was a very passionate storyteller. He loved to share stories about anything and everything, especially our European background. He was extremely proud of his Polish and Hungarian heritage. He was a compassionate and spiritually grounded man. 

Elek had a love for chess, the outdoors and animals of all kinds; he always had a strong connection with his pets. He also deeply enjoyed reading in his spare time, having read literally hundreds of books over his lifetime. But most of all he loved his family and dedicated his life to making them safe and happy.
