Obituary of Ted Dallman

Edward (Ted) Thomas Dallman

April 17, 1941- April 5, 2025

Ted Dallman passed away in the Peterborough Regional Hospital in his 84^th year on April 5, 2025.

Ted was raised in Norwood, where he attended both elementary school and Norwood District High School.  Upon graduation from high school, he attended Kemptville College, graduating from there in 1963.

He moved to Georgetown and commuted to Downsview where he was employed by Douglas Aircraft for many years.  Ted took early retirement when it became available and moved back to Norwood.  In Norwood he enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his beloved mother May.  He went on camping trips in the summer to many places in Ontario and in his earlier years. Ted renovated his van into a camper and drove to the west coast with his mother who accompanied him on many of his trips.

He always had a keen interest in classic cars, and owned a few over the years, participating in local area classic car cruise evenings and shows.

Ted would often be seen around Norwood out for a walk and attending the local coffee groups regularly.  He was a faithful member of the Norwood Baptist Church and later the Norwood Presbyterian Church for many years.

Ted was predeceased by his parents, Father, James N. P. Dallman, and mother, Florence May Dallman (nee Patterson), Uncles Ken Patterson and Richard V. Dallman.

Ted is remembered by his cousins, Richard Maclean (Mac) Dallman (Judy), James A.G. Dallman (Shirley), Barbara Waldron, Patti Cawker (Steven),  their families and extended family in England.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
