Obituary of Gordon Ross Pilkey
PILKEY: Gordon Ross
Gordon Ross Pilkey of Lakefield, Ontario passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, April 20, 2025 in his 97th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma Pilkey (nee Lowrey), close brother of the late Ray, Alvin and Stanley Pilkey and dear step-father of Linda Edith Hall and Marylin Jean McKay both of Toronto. Loved by his grandchildren Megan Deveaux (Kevin) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Benjamin McKay of Cork, Ireland, and Kristen Connelly (Michael) of Whitby, Ontario and by his great-grandchildren, Ewan, Flavie, Anna, Carter, Jacob and Bailee. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews: Jane Pilkey, Jeffrey Pilkey, John Pilkey, Timothy Pilkey, Tom Pilkey, Brenda Johnston, David Pilkey and Ronald Pilkey. A memorial service will be held at Lakefield United Church on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow in the church hall.
