GRAHAM: Mervin Arnold
December 12, 1925 – May 2, 2025
After a long and well lived life, Arnold passed away at Extendicare Lakefield on Friday May 2, 2025, in his 100th year. Arnold was a proud WWII Veteran who was a Royal Canadian Air Force Gunner. He will be sadly missed by his children Sally Graham (Martin Wormald) of Peterborough and Paul Graham (JoAnne) of North Kawartha. Grandpa will be fondly remembered by Tyler (Kayla) and Bobby (Heidi) and by his great grandsons Austin, Jaxxon, Cooper, Sawyer and Archer. Brother-in-law to Jon Pue (Nancy). He will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his partner Corinne Ducharme. Arnold was the youngest of 12 children born to Isaiah and Karen Graham. Predeceased by his brothers George, Walter, Gerald, Norman, Theodore, Wesley, Allen, Beverly, Elmer, sisters Annie Cockburn, Mary Bulmer and sisters-in-law Norma Wanamaker (Bernie) and Brenda Pue. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow at the R.C.L., Branch 77, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield. Memorial donations may be made to the R.C.L.
