Obituary of Lee Rhynold

RHYNOLD: Arthur Leroy “Lee”

February 27, 1950 – May 9, 2025

Lee passed away suddenly at his home on Friday May 9, 2025.  A lover of nature, Lee died where he loved to spend his time, tending his gardens.  Lee worked for Nortel for 30 years, having started working on the floor to retiring as management where he was instrumental in opening new branches across North America.  He enjoyed his visits back to the East Coast where he was born to visit his family there.  Lee loved hunting, playing with his Dog Oscar and was an active, dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 77, Lakefield.  Sadly missed by his wife Bridget (nee Haire), sons Scott and Jamie, grandchildren Zack, Jessica, Grayson, Danielle, Jacob, Kendra, Alexis, Alicia and great grandchildren Serenity, Mavrick, Kiara, Stetson, Quinn and Oaklynn.  Survived by his siblings Gerry, Lindsay, Harvey, Maureen, Wilson and Freddie.  Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Muriel Rhynold, daughter Tammy and sisters Bonnie and Velma.  A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield on Sunday June 8, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 77, Lakefield or your own local Legion as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
