May 10, 1938 – May 12, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Robert Peers on May 12th, 2025 at the age of 87. Born on May 10th, 1938 in Toronto to Robert & Francis Peers. Don was a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend. Don is survived by his wife Wilna Peers, his children Darren and Susan Peers; his beloved grand-daughter Serena Micallef, and his cousins Michael White & Barry Johnson. Don was known for his time on the fire service for the city of Vaughan and the Queens Own Rifles of Canada. He will be remembered for his friendliness, outgoing nature, and of course his carvings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – MONK CHAPEL. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8th, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 239 in Bobcaygeon (96 King Street East).
