Bud & Hazel were true pillars of the Norwood community and will be greatly missed. I have many fond childhood memories of spending days and nights at both the arena and the ballpark with the Wrightly family either ‘working’ and/or cheering on family and friends throughout the years. And, of course, social visits after these events at our respective homes. Bud was a very warm and caring individual who visited my parents regularly and in later years always checked in on mom and sold her a ticket or two to support the legion. I had the pleasure of chatting with Bud & Hazel a couple of years ago and Bud reminisced about the years spent with dad on the executive of Minor Sports where they played an instrumental role in the success of the sports association. During this time he developed lifelong friendships with many community members which was clear he was proud of and cherished. My sincerest condolences to the entire family and take comfort knowing that Bud will not be forgotten and will live on in your treasured memories.
