WRIGHTLY: Lawrence Andrew “Bud”
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Wednesday June 11, 2025. Bud Wrightly of Norwood in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Hazel Wrightly. Always loved and remembered by his children Leslie Ann Campbell (Peter) of Dartford, Cindy King (Ken) of Havelock, Andrew Wrightly (Dan Lamadeleine-Wrightly) of Peterborough and daughter-in-law Dale Wrightly (the late Larry) of Barrie. Proud Grandfather of Joe (Chrissy), Kate (Adam), Kris (Lyndsay), Nathan (Shannon), Kayla (Darcy), Brittany (Matt), Jordan (Karlie) and great grandfather of Grace, Kale, Coen, Poppy, Miller, Ryder, Clover, Wade, Emerson, Jones, Logan and Hayes. Bud will be forever remembered by his many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Andrew Wrightly and Elsie Keating (Moore), sister Reata Armstrong (Bob) and brothers Les Wrightly and Karl Wrightly (Barbara). Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood on Sunday June 29, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Norwood United Church on Monday June 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Jamie York and Rev. Lynn Watson officiating. Interment of Bud and Hazel’s urn (Together Forever) will take place at Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery following the service. A reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #300, Norwood.
