DAGENAIS: Roger

Passed away at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday July 2, 2025.  Roger Dagenais of Ennismore at age 81 years.  Roger worked as a General Contractor, beginning first in Quebec before moving to Dunsford for many years.  He then moved to Lake St. Peter where he and his wife ran the diner “Judy’s” for many years before her death in 2008.  In 2011, he met Fern Landon and they enjoyed the last 14 years together.  He and Fern loved to spend time camping, dancing, playing cards and attending Jamborees to enjoy their love of Country Music.  He is loved and missed by his spouse Fern Landon.  Survived by his children Steven, Lyne, Robbie and his step-children Brenda (Dave), Arlene (Steve) and Nonie (Jim).  Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Remembered by his dear friend Merv (Joanne).    Predeceased by his parents and brother Lucien.  Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Roger’s Life to be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Saturday July 26, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.  A private family interment will follow at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care Unit and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
