KIMBLE, MARGARET ISAMAY

August 14, 1932 – July 6, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Kimble, née Bennett, on July 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Darwin Kimble. Dear mother of Barbara (Don) Reeves, Brenda (Eric) Craig, Shirley (Paul) Grills, Nancy Kimble, Larry (d. Cindy) Kimble, Lynda (d. Joe) Cartan, Margaret Kimble, and Dale Kimble. Devoted grandmother of Ben, Janice-Ann (John), Erika (Matt), Dawn (Stevie), Shauna (Josh), Dawson (Laura), Tara, Darwin (Jenna), Laryssa (Alec), Johanna, Laura (Jarrett) and Maggie (David). Loving great-grandmother to sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Margaret and Dar were well-known in the area for running the Kimble Bros Bait and Tackle shop for years, and being very involved in their community. Margaret volunteered for the Bobcaygeon Minor Hockey Association and was a lifetime member. She loved cheering on her teams, which also included the Leafs and the Blue Jays. Margaret enjoyed biking everywhere, gardening, reading books and doing puzzles. She was the family archivist, and saved any article or picture of family that appeared in the local newspaper.

Margaret’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Pinecrest Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon and Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay for their care and support.

Visitation will be held at HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street Bobcaygeon on Friday July 11 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service starting at 12:00 PM and reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, or Sturgeon Lake Minor Hockey Association by visiting www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-738-3222.
