Stanford Russell John Taylor

Passed away in the early hours of Saturday August 9th 2025 at PRHC at the age of 63. Stanford was born on June 29th 1962 and grew up in Curve Lake with a deep sense of love and pride in his community. As an adult he was an accomplished artist, and loved to create with his hands. He was very knowledgeable about his culture and was always willing to listen and offer support and guidance to those seeking traditional knowledge and teachings. He loved to participate in singing, drumming and ceremonies. Stanford liked to travel, enjoyed various types of music and had a great quick witted sense of humor. He liked to help people and had a special love for Christmas and being surrounded by those he loved.

Stanford is the beloved husband of Lisa Marie and cherished father of Jade, Sara, Alec, Stanford jr, Biidaaban, Nangoonskeh and Aaron. Loving papa of Konstance, Bridgett, Olivia, Chelsea, Keira, AJ, Preston, Paige and Roman. Great grandfather to Ashton. Brother of Andy and Tony. Predeceased by his parents, Elwin and Eleanor, and his sister Catherine. Also fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

A service will be held at the Curve Lake Church at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Visitation two hours prior to the service, starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Curve Lake Cemetery, and a reception will be held at the Curve Lake Community Centre.
