SHIELD, Shirley Marie (nee. Armstrong)

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on August 12th, 2025 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Shield (d. 2008), Mom will be missed by her children David (Teresa), Mark (Dawn), and Lorna Scriver (Jack). Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her Sister-in-law Ileen Armstrong and her family, sister-in-law Brenda Shield and her son Jamie, and is predeceased by her brother Garry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. A visitation will take place on August 21st, 2025 at The Hendren Funeral Home (66 Queen Street Lakefield) from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM, with a service beginning at 1:00 PM.
