Passed away at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer on Wednesday August 13, 2025. Joanne Beggs of Young’s Point in her 67th year. Joanne worked as a dispatcher at Mid West Traffic in Peterborough for over 30 years. Her children and grandchildren were her life and through their youth, Joanne’s home became the home for many of their friends. She is loved and missed by her partner Allan Hartwick and her sons Cody Beggs of Grand Cache, Alberta and Dylan Beggs of Lakefield. Dear grandma of Chase, Caysen, Brooklyn, Savannah and Cohen. Survived by her siblings Sam Morgan (Bonnie) (d.Teresa) of Belleville, Suzanne Morgan (Reg) of Trenton, Diane Anderson (the late Bob) of Belleville, Russell Morgan of Belleville and Delbert Morgan (Dena) of Belleville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Joan. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #77, Lakefield on Sunday August 24, 2025 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
